Nach dem Interview, das das Design-Magazin Frame anlässlich unserer Ausstellung U.F.O. mit Richard Prince geführt hat, hier noch der Auszug aus einem weiteren Gespräch von Frame mit dem Münchner Designer Clemens Weisshaar über sein Verhältnis zur Kunst und zum Design:

Frame: The U.F.O. exhibition focuses on the question: Where does design end and art begin? Do you have an answer?
Clemens Weisshaar: I grew up in a country [Germany] where the separation of arts – Trennung der Künste – has been celebrated with almost religious bigotry. Today we can happily report that a lot of interaction, cross pollination and osmosis is occurring among the sometimes overlapping fields and subcategories that exist within art, architecture, design, fashion, sciences, etc. It is at the intersections of the various fields that some of the most interesting work is being produced.
