Germany’s best cat video

Together with the Rheinischen Post we found the TOP-15 cat videos in germany. A committee will choose a Jury Prize from among them and on the website of the RP people can vote for an Audience Prize.

The winner of the Jury Prize will be invited to Düsseldorf and receive a 50 % discount voucher for KletterLetter, producer of luxury cat furniture as well as a cat toy specifically designed for the event. The Audience Prize is a 100 € shopping voucher for the purrmania stall inside the NRW-Forum, a Berlin manufaturer of ethical cat toys which have already reached cult status in the cat community. In addition Clevercat, the online shop for cat products, will provide another prize (yet to be announced).

The Internet Cat Video Festival will be presented by Alain Bieber, artistic director of the NRW-Forum Düsseldorf and Katja Berlin, author (Cat Content: text messages from my tomcat”), prankster and cat film director. Apart from Alain Bieber and Katja Berlin the jury for Germany’s best cat video will also feature Arne Lieb, editor at the Rheinischen Post Düsseldorf, and Sigurd Jaiser from the online telephone provider Sipgate, partner of the event series Internetstadl.
