Düsseldorf’s NRW-Forum shows changing exhibitions illustrating topical issues against specific cultural backgrounds. These include exhibitions of photography, media, fashion, communications, architecture, mobility or lifestyle.

A special focus of the NRW-Forum is on photography and new media, as is reflected in exhibitions featuring the work of Peter Lindbergh, Helmut Newton, Anton Corbijn and Miwa Yanagi and the aesthetics of video. Another focus is on fashion, with exhibitions dedicated to Alexander McQueen, Manolo Blahnik or Vivienne Westwood.

A collection of over 1,000 art, advertising and music videos are permanently accessible at the MediaLounge and represent a genuine “treasure trove” for anybody interested in the aesthetics of our times.

The NRW-Forum is situated between the Rhine and the Hofgarten, Düsseldorf’s most attractive park; the Caffè restaurant serves modern Italian cuisine during exhibition times.

The NRW-Forum is easy to reach by taxi from the airport or the central station as well as by public transport.
