Mit der Arbeit What do I know? I am just a machine?!, Was weiß ich?

Drone spheres float through the exhibition space and start conversations with the visitors. They talk about autonomous machines, artificial intelligence, identity politics, values, or their own existence. However, they are not real drones, they are inserted into the environment with the help of a tablet and an augmented reality app. Augmented reality (AR) means the enhancement of the perception of reality through digital elements that are blended in by means of an end device such as a smartphone or tablet. With the help of the available tablets, visitors can move through the exhibition space at their own pace and make contact with the drones. With the work What do I know? I am just a machine?!, the artist, director and hacker Martin Backes looks at the relationship between humans and machines from the perspective of the machine.
