Our world is permeated by digital technologies and socio-technical practices. Phenomena gathered under the term Big Data, such as exponential data growth, algorithm-based decisions and machine learning, require a broad, public and critical discussion.
The event series Art & Algorithms, in cooperation with the University of Cologne and the Grimme Institute, always presents a selected artistic work on the topic of Big Data, which is then flanked by impulses and discussed with the audience.
For the third edition, the artist Martina Leeker is invited to present and comment on a lecture performance that will be discussed together with Dawid Kasprowicz (University of Aachen) and Lorena Jaume-Palasí (The Ethical Tech Society, Berlin). Moderated by: Kristin Klein (University of Cologne).
The event is free of charge. Registration is not necessary.
Starting at 6:30 p.m.
