Tanjirō Kamado – a boy who joins the Demon Slayer Corps after his little sister, Nezuko, is turned into a demon herself. As he has grown stronger and deepened his friendships and bonds with other members of the Corps, Tanjirō has already fought numerous demons alongside his companions Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. On his journey, he fought alongside the Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen, the so-called Pillars, including the Flame Pillar Kyōjurō Rengoku on the Mugen Train, the Sound Pillar Tengen Uzui in the Red-Light District, and the Mist Pillar Muichirō Tokitō and the Love Pillar Mitsuri Kanroji in the Blacksmith Village.
Whilst the Demon Slayers and the Pillars are undergoing a joint group strength training session known as ‘Pillar Training’ to prepare for the impending battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki estate. After the head of the Demon Slayers finds himself in danger, Tanjirō and the Pillars rush to headquarters – but Muzan Kibutsuji plunges them into a deep abyss, transporting them to a mysterious location. Their fall ends at the demons’ stronghold – the Infinity Castle. There, the final battle between the Demon Slayers and the demons rages out.
