We face a multitude of social challenges. Climate change, child and old-age poverty, a backlog of reforms in the education system, the integration of refugees or demographic change are just a few examples. Instead of tackling these challenges sustainably, the symptoms are often simply met with tools from the past century. Potentials are wasted and fundamental social improvements are rarely brought about. With all the social challenges of our time, there must be another demand.
Social entrepreneurs bring this claim with them and approach our social challenges holistically with innovative and future-oriented solutions.
The Rheinland-Pitch Social Impact Special takes up these developments and offers social founders a stage to present their solutions to the social challenges of our time.
Be there when Impact-Startups present their business model. The Social Impact Special, in cooperation with the Social Entrepreneurship Network Germany, offers exciting startup pitches by social entrepreneurs and is an exciting opportunity to expand your own network and pick up on new trends in the industry.
Tickets are available for a nominal fee of 8 €. Food and drinks are included free of charge in the ticket price. All ticket sales are donated to a non-profit organization.
What is the Rheinland-Pitch?
The Rheinland-Pitch, initiated in 2013 by STARTPLATZ, is the largest startup-pitch competition in Germany with over 90 events and a total of over 10,000 visitors. Every month, aspiring start-ups are given the opportunity to present themselves to companies, investors and other interested parties. The aim is to initiate a lively exchange and build up a strong network in the scene.
Founders from all over Germany can apply for the Rheinland-Pitch, regardless of which phase (idea, seed or post-seed) the startup is in. An online application is possible up to 10 days before the Rheinland-Pitch events.
