For many, the bed is an intimate and safe place - a space where we can talk freely with each other. In this series of talks, the bed becomes a stage: host Auri Sattelmair invites different guests to talk about the body, lust, power and media. Openly, directly and without shame.
On 9 October, filmmaker and feminist pornographer Paulita Pappel will be our guest. As a producer, director and intimacy coordinator, she advocates for a sex-positive, consent-based culture. Together with Auri Sattelmair, she will talk about her work in the porn industry, visibility and porn positivity. Afterwards, we will show a best-of compilation from 20 years of the Berlin Porn Film Festival.
Paulita Pappel lives in Madrid and Berlin. She is the co-founder of Lustery, a platform dedicated to the sex lives of real couples from around the world. At HardWerk, an independent studio that develops cinema-quality hardcore films, she is one half of the team, directing and producing. She has been the curator of the Porn Film Festival Berlin since 2013.
