We want to make the NRW-Forum fit for the future, and you’re part of it: what events and exhibitions would you like to experience? What should a venue for pop culture look like today? What do you need to feel truly at home? Programme, design, communication – absolutely everything can and should be reimagined! To this end, we’re once again looking for seven New Forum Friends (NEFOs for short).

The NRW-Forum Düsseldorf is an international exhibition venue dedicated to photography, pop culture and digital culture. As a dynamic think tank, we explore current topics and translate them into lively, engaging discussions. Your involvement and creativity are important to us. Specialist knowledge is not a prerequisite – quite the opposite: curiosity and a passion for new, unusual ideas are far more important. Apply and join us in developing ideas that will transform the NRW-Forum. Following the success of the first generation of NEFO, we are now moving on to the next phase.

WHAT?

You will advise and support us in developing concepts for the NRW-Forum of the future.

WHY?

You’ll have the chance to play an active role in shaping the NRW-Forum. You’ll receive a financial allowance for your work on the project. As a thank you, you’ll also get free entry for a year to all exhibitions at the Kunstpalast and the NRW-Forum, as well as exclusive invitations to special events.

WHO?

Are you 17–35 years old? If so, we look forward to receiving your application! At NEFOs, we actively welcome a variety of perspectives – regardless of educational background, origin or gender.

WHEN?

We meet in the evenings at the NRW-Forum Düsseldorf approximately every six weeks over a period of 12 months.
The first session will take place on 18 June, from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm.
