With digital tours of the "Martin Schoeller" exhibition and the web series "Let's do Drag", the NRW-Forum Düsseldorf brings part of its programme to the people's homes. All offers are free and only online available.


Digital guided tour Martin Schoeller

Together with the online magazine THE DORF, the NRW-Forum presents the current exhibition "Martin Schoeller" in the form of a digital tour in several episodes. In conversation are NRW-Forum colleague Bernadette Färber, the student Rosa Schulz and the artist Pola Sieverding. In addition, there will be insights into the exhibition "Bodies That Matter", curated by Pola Sieverding, which was shown at the NRW-Forum on the occasion of the photofestival Düsseldorf Photo+.

The videos will be released up to twice a week on Instagram, Facebook and the websites of THE DORF and NRW-Forum. The release dates will be announced in advance on the channels of THE DORF and the NRW-Forum. So far, three episodes of Martin Schoeller's series "Identical", "Death Row Exonoress" and "Drag Queens" have been released and are available at www.nrw-forum.de and on THE DORF's YouTube channel:

Web series "Let's do Drag"

In the three-part web series "Let's do Drag", the drag queen Lola Lash from Düsseldorf guides the artistic director of the NRW-Forum, Alain Bieber, in catwalk manner through the current exhibition of Martin Schoeller. Lola Lash explains "The Art of Drag", shows the art of lip-sync and gives a make-up tutorial, which Alain Bieber tries out on site. The audience is invited to join in, do their own make-up at home and share the pictures on Instagram under the hashtag #letsdodrag. The ten most beautiful, shrillest, artistic pictures will be awarded: A backstage meeting with Lola Lash on the Long Night of Museums, 10 x 2 tickets to the NRW-Forum and a book by Martin Schoeller will be raffled. The series can be seen on the social media channels and the homepage of the NRW-Forum. The release dates will be announced in advance on the social media channels of the NRW-Forum.
