The NRW-Forum Düsseldorf in the metaverse

Open again from July

wwwforum c NRW Forum Düsseldorf Studio Christian Mio Loclair

Digital art needs digital spaces: on 30 March 2023, we will launch wwwforum, a virtual space that provides artists and visitors with a playground for experimentation and explores the possibilities of digital exhibitions. Together with Studio Christian Mio Loclair and the platform nextmuseum.io, the NRW-Forum is one of the first art institutions to step into the metaverse.

Take the step with us, explore the space, watch artists live at work or participate in exhibitions and events.

The wwwforum is a three-dimensional landscape, a communal space for artistic creation as well as events, exhibitions and experiments. It takes up typical elements of the NRW-Forum and augments them to produce an interactive experience space. The project is hosted by the platform JourneeX.

Come out and dance

30.3.-14.5.2023

“Come out and dance”, is the latest digital artwork by Christian Mio Loclair and celebrates the new digital identity of the NRW-Forum Düsseldorf. Implemented at the intersections of artwork, digital architecture and future digital exhibition space for artists in residence - this new metaverse materializes the starting point of a new democratic home for the arts on a global digital stage - “the wwwforum”.
