For many, the bed is an intimate and safe place - a space where we can talk freely with each other. In this series of talks, the bed becomes a stage: host Auri Sattelmair invites different guests to talk about the body, lust, power and media. Openly, directly and without shame.

On 4 December, the multi-award-winning journalist and author Mohamed Amjahid will be a guest. In his book ‘Let's Talk About Sex, Habibi’, he dispels racist stereotypes and shows what everyday sexuality really looks like in North African societies - between orgies at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, Muslim love spells and Salafists selling overpriced condoms. But also between toxic masculinity, religious abuse of power and sexualised violence. Together with Auri Sattelmair, he talks about queer perspectives, cultural influences and the political dimension of intimacy.

The book is available on site.
