Artistic games and playable installations, symposium, exhibition, talks and performances on digital games: For the third time, the Next Level-Festival for Games in November 2018 will transform the exhibition rooms of the NRW Forum into a digital experience course and connect fans and experts of digital gaming culture.

Opening hours

Thursday 22/11/18: 4-7 pm
Friday 23/11/18: 9 am - 6 pm
Saturday 24/11/18: 10 am – 19.30 pm
Sunday 25/11/2018: 10 am – 6 pm (6- 8 pm Games Concert)

UNEASY PLAY

What types of challenges do players seek and find in selected games? Which problems are fun, which are just annoying? With the course UNEASY PLAY Sebastian Quack pursues the joy of the difficulty in the game and turns the experience of his own frustrations into a pleasurable and enlightening experience. With games by Nina Westerdahl, Nina Essendrop, Bennett Foddy, Nathalie Lawhead, Jason Rohrer, Clemens Habicht, R. Eric Reuss, Robert Yang, Weird Sisters and others.
